Near Partizansk you can find Nikolaevskoe and Shaiginskoe gorodische which are the unique monuments related to the epoch of the early Middle Ages when the territory of Primorsky region was part of the Bohajskoe state.
In vicinities of Arsenyev about 40 various archeological monuments: site of ancient settlement, settlements, parking, and also caves, which with enthusiasm are investigated by cave explorers, are located.
Sukhanovi House - museum is unique in the Russian Far East museum, representing the way of life of the imperial official of the XIX – XX centuries. Vladivostok fortress is unique from the Russian sea fortresses kept in the territory of Russia. It is a unique monument of military - defensive architecture of the end of XIX-beginning of XX centuries. The guns of Vladivostok fortress for all the history didn’t make any shot on the enemy, because the enemy considered extremely unprofitable to enter in competition with so powerful fortifications. Now forts, redoubts and batteries of the Sea fortress Vladivostok are transformed into museum complexes and are unique.
Due to talent of architects of Primorye, one of the most beautiful territories of our country attracts visitors by architectural monuments. Botanical garden is the widely known museum and laboratory of wildlife where the set of plants from all continents of the Earth is collected. Here you will see the biggest collections of palm trees, pines, bamboo, oaks and other exotic plants; to visit a known rosary, to enjoy the beauty of rare azaleas, camellias and orchids, to wander on picturesque footpaths and lawns.
“Stone of friendship” - according to the legend, it is made of rock by mayor of city Maizuru, geographical brother-cities of Nakhodka. It is brought to Russia by friendly delegation, the sign has inscriptions in the Japanese and Russian languages. Also in Nakhodka there are two Memorial walls of twin towns with the relief arms of brother-cities (Nakhodka, Maizuru, Otaru and Oakland) and inscriptions in four languages.
